Ways to Book the Cheapest Flights Possible

5. Stay As Flexible As Possible

Travel during the off-season is much cheaper, and the hotels and meals at your destination tend to be less costly then, too. Flights to locations with lower demand can also be cheaper. It might be worthwhile to fly into somewhere within a hundred miles or so of the main tourist draw in any particular country. Not only will you get a better sense of real life in that country, but you’ll usually save enough in lodging to easily cover the cost of a rental car or bus trip to see the biggest attraction.

Usually traveling on Tuesday or Wednesday is cheaper than other days, but not always. Staying open about your travel days will help you snag the best deal. Being willing to fly from or to various airports can also sometimes help. This might mean arriving and departing from different airports in the same trip.
