5. Symphony of the Seas
If you fancy a trip in a shiny new ship, check out the Symphony of the Seas from Royal Caribbean. This boat is huge! It can carry 6,680 passengers, has 2,200 crew members, and offers 18 decks that are loaded with fun opportunities for recreation, dining, and shopping.
A few of the unusual amenities available on the Symphony of the Seas include an indoor ice skating rink, a surf simulator, two 40-foot rock climbing walls, a zip line, and a slide that takes you down an astonishing 10 stories! If you’d rather just chill, you can spend some time in the spa, sip cocktails (made by robotic bartenders), and then wend your way through a “neighborhood” inspired by New York’s Central Park.
Where you can go: In 2018-19, Symphony of the Seas departs from Miami and sails throughout the Bahamas and Caribbean. Additional departures are from Rome and Barcelona.
